SPIE Photonics Europe 2022 Exhibition

Senseair led the participation of ULISSES to the exhibition of the SPIE Photonics Europe 2022 conference, as part of the ECREAM cluster. At the exhibition, the ECREAM cluster had a booth in the exhibition hall, where six of the cluster’s projects were presented. The projects were AEOLUS, TRIAGE, PHOTONFOOD, MOLOKO, GRACED, and ULISSES. The booth setup included an ECREAM cluster banner, a poster for each of the six projects, and a table with a laptop on which promotional videos for the ULISSES and TRIAGE projects were continuously shown. Representatives from all projects were present. For ULISSES they were Floria Ottonello Briano and Stephan Schröder, both scientists at Senseair, who presented the ULISSES poster specifically prepared for this event by SCIPROM with the collaboration of all partners.

During the two days of the exhibition, numerous people stopped by the booth and engaged in conversations to learn about the presented projects. The SPIE Photonics Europe conference took place as an in-person event after two years of COVID-19 pandemic and right after a few months of tighter pandemic restrictions all over Europe. Hence, participation was reasonably good but certainly not at pre-pandemic levels. For ULISSES, it was the first in-person dissemination activity at a large event since the beginning of the pandemic, and it was a positive re-start of the connection with a larger audience.
